Meet Alpine Skier
Mikaela Shiffrin
Age 18, Eagle-Vail, Colo.
A prodigy, Shiffrin is already a world champion. She is one of the favorites to win the gold medal in slalom and a threat to win a medal in giant slalom, either of which would make her the youngest U.S. Alpine skiing medalist in history.
