I graduated from MGSA at Rutgers University and have been designing logos, print material and websites since 2002. I have a design background and am a self-taught front-end web developer. I have knowledge of the latest database and programming technologies, allowing for effective integration and collaboration with back-end programming functionality while pushing the UI/UX envelope.
My current position is Interactive Web Director at The Foundry. The Foundry is a division within Meredith Corp. (formerly Time Inc.) that is focused on bringing powerful immersive online storytelling, advertising and branded content to life. Within the Foundry, I work with a team of designers, writers, developers and producers. Some of our most know work have been with Emirates, Visit California and Chase.
Before my role at The Foundry, I worked at Sports Illustrated as the Interactive Web Developer. I designed and developed for SI.com, SI Swimsuit and the MMQB. I was also the lead front-end developer on interactive multimedia features for SI Longform and sold custom content projects. We have won a number of awards for our work.
In my spare time I run Interactive Blend which showcases some of my freelance work.
